KIS currently has around 460 students ranging from 2 ½ - 18 years of age with a student/teacher ratio of 8:1.
KIS International School is a community of dedicated teachers, supportive parents and enthusiastic students representing over 35 countries. By combining IB philosophies with our academically challenging curriculum, the IB programmes at KIS promote inquiry through the quest for knowledge and understanding. The artistically designed facilities are purpose-built for the instruction of the IB programmes. In addition to roomy classrooms, the Primary School has a library, IT lab, a drama room, a science lab and a gymnasium. The Secondary School facilities include a library and media centre, IT labs, biology, chemistry and physics labs. Other facilities include the Arts Centre, music suites, art and dance studios and a 25 m ozone system swimming pool. The auditorium building features the Canteen on the main level and a 600 seating capacity hall on the 2nd floor Outdoor facilities include two fully equipped playgrounds, one covered multi- sports area, covered basketball/volleyball courts, tennis courts and a soccer field.
