The International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT) successfully held the General Members Meeting 1/2026 on Friday, March 13, 2026, at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok, bringing together leaders and representatives from international schools across Thailand.

The meeting reflected the strong spirit of unity and collaboration within Thailand’s international school community. Members gathered to exchange ideas, discuss important educational developments, and strengthen partnerships that continue to support high-quality international education throughout the country.

ISAT President Mrs. Usa Somboon highlighted the association’s ongoing work with government agencies and educational organizations to advocate for issues affecting international schools and to support the needs of member schools.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the update on the collaboration between ISAT and the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) under the ODOS Scholarship Project. Several ISAT member schools volunteered to host outstanding Thai students and provide them with an immersive international school experience to help prepare them for future studies abroad. This initiative reflected the collective commitment of ISAT schools to supporting educational opportunity and giving back to the wider community.

The meeting also included updates on professional learning initiatives, accreditation support, ethical AI guidelines in education, and the continued growth of ISAT membership. Together, these efforts demonstrate how ISAT member schools continue to work side by side to strengthen the future of international education in Thailand.
