The International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT) acts as the unified voice for international education across the Kingdom. Since its establishment in 1994, ISAT has expanded to represent 200 international schools, significantly contributing to the educational framework in Thailand. Our primary mission is to enhance this membership by upholding high standards of educational quality, promoting ethical practices, and ensuring outstanding student learning outcomes.
ISAT's noteworthy influence arises from its collaborative efforts with the Thai Government. We engage extensively with various ministries and regulatory bodies, including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, the Ministry of Labour, the Immigration Bureau, and the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA), along with international accreditation agencies. This crucial partnership facilitates alignment between our member schools and national policies while consistently upholding the highest international education standards. Through these collaborative initiatives, ISAT plays a vital role in collaborating with the government to implement key policy measures and nurture an environment conducive to the ambitious educational goals of Thailand.
ISAT member schools provide a wide array of globally recognized curricula, including American, British, and International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and various national curricula. This rich diversity, along with an extensive range of campus and co-curricular offerings, is designed to accommodate the unique needs of each student. The high education standards at ISAT schools have received consistent recognition from esteemed international accreditation bodies such as WASC, NEASC, CIS, and EDT, underscoring our steadfast commitment to excellence.
In addition to our advocacy efforts, ISAT is wholly dedicated to fostering the professional growth of educators and advancing holistic school development. We regularly organize workshops, networking events, and school improvement programs, equipping educators with innovative methodologies and valuable resources.
